I was sitting watching the football tonight and realised I quite like watching England play!
Before everyone starts with the abuse listen to my logic!
I'm very patriotic and love watching Scotland and would always support them over any other team! However I watch the English players play in the premiership every week so what's the difference in watching and enjoying their national team? |

"Enjoy watching england but only with the sound off"
Agreed I can't stand listening to the commentary or the half time analysis as it always gets back to 1966

Watching football I admire some players, Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Raquim Sterling, Steven Gerard as they play with heart, that's what I like about these players.
I don't like the commentators, Adrian Chiles does my nut in, and the way the analysis went afterwards was the typical "we are going to scoosh this group" attitude was as per off putting.
I enjoy watching the players play, but overall I always want them to get beat. |
