Theres a proms in the park event at Glasgow Green, an international bridge (the card game) competition at the Radisson and a bunch of the usual concerts and such like |

I was looking the last time and all hotels were either booked or stupid money! Don't mind paying that for a decent hotel but for a travel lodge!!!!
I wondered if Glasgow is doing well from tourists after the success of the commonwealth games! All they people from all over thought we got great weather and booked to come over!!! |

Does no one utilise the smaller hotels around town. One or two on Bath st near the Griffin, a fair few near the Kelvin Lorne, of course the trusty B+B type adjacent to Oran Mor are actually quite nice inside. |
