I've got a skintag under my arm but it's starting to get sore. Can you get rid of these? And can they grow? I'm sure it's getting bigger

i have quite a few of them and i got them frozen off in the doctors surgery, they do tend to grow back though. its like a really nippy feeling but not too painful. some salons remove them too.

just go to your doctors - some surgeries have facilities where they just freeze them - like they do with varookas - it will go black and then fall off after a couple of days - no pain

Its supposed to cut off the blood supply, thats why it falls off. Its not sore.

GP can refer you to Dermatology or have a look for a beauty salon that offers advanced electrolysis and they can remove too.

They are removed in salons and doctors can also remove them. They use a hot knife to cut them which corterizes them as they are cut off. The person Who is removing them gets the skin tag in pair of tweezers and then cita the skin with a hot knife. The blade of the hot knife is thin like fishing line but electrically heated.

The medical name for skin tags is acrochordons which are harmless and grow mainly in the armpit, groin & under breasts and are very common.

To remove then you can have then burnt of, frozen, the string method which has already been mention or cut of with sterile scissors but i'd suggest seeing your doctor about it rather than self treating

Tea tree oil can also be successful in helping them drop off after about a week of regular application....but always best to get these things checked out.
