Yep 5 weeks is not long on here esp for a single guy, a wee bit of patience get yourself known on the forums and chat room then get messaging ppl you like. |

Yes, it's all the site's fault for being crap. Has nothing to do with your profile or who and how you mail people.
Advice: Block men from messaging you. You're not looking for them at all so why are they not blocked?
Either get a couples profile with your FB or remove reference to her on your profile. Chances are no serious people are going to believe you have one.
Seriously improve your profile to sell yourself as at the moment you don't stand out from any other men here apart from having a public facepic, which is good.
And lower your expectations of the site. |

As has been said, I'm afraid 5 weeks on here is nothing. Go 5 months and then you can maybe complain.
And is it really the site? It's down to you and how and who you're messaging. At the end of the day, patience! |

Yip...affraid you kinda have to cool your heels with hopes of clicking on who you like and want want want to meet. Rare it pans out like that.
Most have familiar established meets, or are snowed under by messages etc...luck of the draw and all that.  |

Take a step out of YOUR shoes and then look hard in the mirror.
Be honest with yourself about what you expect from the site.
Then go look for what you expect from your own true feelings and be surprised what comes around
Too many think their gods gift and have unrealistic aims regarding wants and needs
Be honest to yourself and to others on the site
Works for me and has done for years not 5 weeks |

Well I've never considered myself gods gift, in fact rather the opposite!
As for wants & needs I've never needed just wanted
As for honesty it's my best policy, I've nothing 2 hide so ask away.
I've checked that mirror you have mentioned & stepped out of my rigger boots but hey guess what, still the same guy, still the same expectations!  |

Your profile comes across as arrogant to be honest, does make you sound like you think you're gods gift. 'What can you offer me?' 'Will you be the one to thrill me?' That approach just doesn't work on here. What about what you can offer the ladies? It makes it sounds like you're happy to sit back and let them put in the effort of getting in touch which, rest assured, probably won't be the case.
Also, your profile name. Unibomber? That doesn't really throw out the right sort of vibes either fella, regardless of how amusing or irreverent you thought you were being.
Might be worth checking out other guys profiles, see who the successful ones are and see if you can figure out whats working for them.
Just a couple of small thoughts that might help get things moving along.

For what its worth my guess would be the best way would be to rethink your profile & username.
Thing is there's no such thing as a one size fits all profile, we all have different tastes.

I agree it can b quite boring at times it takes a lot ov effort 2 even have a conversation with some people never mind having fun. I have been here about 6 years and always loved the socials. But these days I am finding it very cliquey.
Just as well this is not the only site am on or it would b a very lonely life with no fem fun
