I see the OP has left, but on the subject.
I was driving in and around that area last week and I'm sure I passed a small signpost that mentioned Dogging! Was past before I could read it properly... but it was next to a layby, which is pretty well concealed from the main road, and could possibly be a very good spot?
Just wondering if my eyes were playing tricks or there was a meet up there recently/soon?

Did you read all the sign?
There used to be one in a local site warning against such activities saying extra police in area. |

Craigendoran railway station car park used to have a huge "DOGGING AREA" tag sprayed on the wall 
There are a couple of famous spots alongside Loch Lomond on the A82, popular with truckers and campers and ducks I hear. |

There are ample spots, you just need to get off the main trails a little. The best places are always worth the effort. |
