Just heard that the female Panda could be pregnant and could be due at the end off this month , now if this is true what a boost for the scottish economy.

Pretty sure she is, its taken a lonnggg time for them to confirm it as pandas can stop a pregnancy in the early stages if they dont want it or feel comfortable. So they had to keep a close eye on her.

Will be amazing to see the baby panda!

Fantastic news and it would definitely boost visitor numbers to the zoo. Hope all god well and what a feather in Edinburgh zoos cap it would be if mother panda go's the full term.

Why is it a boost for the economy? Might get more visitors to the zoo but apart from that...?
