I don't know how to take this

One of my verifications got in touch to let me know he has received a message from someone asking for tips on how to seduce me lol

I don't know whether to take it as a compliment or whether to be annoyed.

How would you feel and what would you do?

Take it as a compliment, do some of your own research and consider whether it not you'd like to meet with the gentleman in question. Who knows you could have a lot of fun together!

Personally, I wouldn't be at all impressed. I'd rather they messaged me than ask others about me...and I would expect any true friend to tell them that.

I don't think any harm was meant..but you're right Jinty I should be the one he contacted.

I am flattered as I do see it as a compliment too. It's one of those situations where it could be both positive and negative and that's why I want the person to get in touch so I can find out what they were hoping to gain from it.

I've had this happen in the past too,but don't know why people just make contact in the first place rather than asking your meets because at the end of the day what they might think of you someone else might not.

I agree totally that its flattering to think someone is so keen....but I'd definitely be put off by the fact that some kind of tactics were involved to gain advantage. I'd prefer someone to be themself with me rather than be a character they thought I might go for....and although I know its human nature to discuss others I HATE being the subject so I wouldn't be at all comfortable.

Maybe the person in question can't message you because his/your search terms don't permit it....outwith age range, for example.

I gave someone a piece of my mind and blocked him for discussing me / our meet with another Fab user!
