Stood in Glasgow green for the closing down malarkey. God this is pish, several hours of my life i have well and truly wasted. The queue for the bar is monstrous and so are the prices

I was involved in working at a lot of the venues and stuff for the games and the Glasgow festival and I think it's a shame that people are really quick to slag off all the hard work and organisation that went into it all whether that was done by paid workers or volunteers (of which I'm neither) I think over the two weeks the whole atmosphere was fantastic. It maybe will never be the 2012 Olympics but I say a big thumbs up for trying to make it as great as it was.

Warm, dry, queue for the fridge was minimal

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

My daughter was there and really enjoyed it.

The opening closing ceremony I think pale into insignificance in comparison to the games which after all is what the whole thing was about.

the best commonwealth games ever it's been described as that speaks volumes so well done to all involved
