The opening party was ticketed and had a great atmosphere. Think I'll trying picking up a ticket and come along

Glasgow

I was at a rehearsal for the opening ceremony and it was good the atmosphere was great but I can't make the closing ceremony as I am going to see my daughter perform at the Fringe Festival. I would have loved to go though!

it's €10 a ticket or you can get a family ticket for £20

There's so much happening in Glasgow Green all week that's completely free so get yourselves along

Tip for those going to the green....use the entrance at the top nearer the Peoples Palace as the queue was a lot shorter (at the main entrance on Saturday was a 45 min wait)....still a good time to be had
