We are traveling by motorcycle for a few days this weekend around Scotland. We have a route planned but wondered if on our route there is anything we should see that is not the normal attractions and a must see ?? our route is ..... Manchester to Loch Lomond (Friday) - Then onto Dingwall then Dundee then back to Manchester.
we are going over the cattle pass via Applecross on Saturday so not much time to divert that day.
Any ideas would be great !!! |

Dingwall - Dundee.
Dingwall to Grantown-on-Spey.
Just east of Grantown, take the A939 to Ballater. Part of this is known as the Cockbridge/Tomintoul road and is the first to get blocked with snow each year.
From Ballater, take the A93 to Blairgowrie which takes you out through Royal Deeside, past Balmoral, through Braemar which regularly has the lowest temperature in the UK, and past the Glenshee ski area.
From Blairgowrie, take the A923 through Coupar Angus to Dundee.
Sorted, nae bother! |
