I have an inter_iew tomorrow morning with a very big firm. Really nervous. Any tips would be mega appreciated. The phrase "picture them naked" should or shouldn't aye lol x

Dress smart

Talk as if you know what your doing

And go in there thinking you are THE best man for the job

First of all good luck. Do remember to maintain eye contact. Don't fidget or fiddle around. Make sure you have a decent knowledge of this new firm.

It's not simply them inter_iewing you. It can be a 'conversation' so have questions for them also. That may help you decide whether this post is really for you.

is it a capability/compentency based inter_iew ? if so, they will ask you for specific examples against the company ones

customer focus

delivering results

managing change

dealing with conflict

etc etc.

you will need to give them:

situation

task

actions

results

Don't start leaning back in the chair if you get relaxed. Sit on the edge of the chair. It means that you'll keep good posture.

The majority of inter_iews use the American style now. They are mostly the same questions based on the star method. Have a gander at this site and just bullshit your way thought it. The main thing is confidence.
