know this has been mentioned quite a while ago but....
one liner in the forum to say bye.
quietly, and PM friends as to reasons and to say bye, swap numbers ect ect.
or full on in the forum with reasons, whys, and the like?
i have my own personal view on it, whats yours?

I've left fab before, twice.
First time I deleted my profile midchat without saying to anyone, second time I said bye to a few friends, said bye in chatroom then went immediately after.
I had my reasons for doing it that way others have their reasons to post in the forum, maybe to reach everyone at once, maybe to have their reasons for leaving validated or disputed.
What works for some doesn't work for others.
However they go many come back at some point lol xxx |

Think I would agree with that Taj. That would certainly be the way we would go. Just tell those we wanted to keep in touch with and stroll off into the sunset.
However I think everyone who leaves goes in the way they wish (trying to be diplomatic here )

ok...this post been up less than 30 mins and ive had 2 mail about it already,
Can i say that this is NOT a thinly veiled attack on bigg g, zed or sheets,,,,it is because of those 3 individuals and others leaving all in different ways i put this post up. |

i agree with u mike if your going to go u should just do it each to there own i supose we left b4 and just went only telling close friends most tend to come back anyway lol x |

I get the fact there are many reasons why people may choose to leave. However surely its more prudent to hide your profile and just keep in touch with those that mean something to you rather than a dramatic exit which invariably means you'll be back? Personally whenever I've decided to take a time out - hiding my profile works and also leaves me the option to return without the palaver of writing a new profile... |

We all often need cooling off times and family time hiding your profile is good.
Think for us if gonna go would pm ppl we wanted to keep in touch with and just go. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

I hate long goodbyes, I just sail off into the sunset and dont look back, lol. I left once, but didnt leave a thread saying bye, as I dont see the point! Each to their own though, Im just adding my opinion...  |

does it really matter either way as long as it dosnt affect you who cares and if they want to go most have there reasons and should just respect it say bye go |

does any one really give a dam if you are leaving . Nope.
folk with friends on the site will stay in contact via other means and those that dont know you will not even bother . as said above some folk leave then come back and so why scrap your profile just let it lasp for a time then if they change their minds and come back on they dont need to change anything |

i tend to hide my profile when i have too much on or just need time out (like now)
if i was ever to leave i would just leave, the people that i have come to like and get on with know where i am and how to keep in touch  |
