Just putting a post on here to gauge interest of a cheeky bevvy in ayrshire on June.

Gahree has very kindly started one, but for various reasons is unable to arrange it now.

I'm thinking maybe 12th or 13th June in either killie or ayr.

Just looking to see if many people would be up for it.

Count me in wild, will make point of keeping that weekend free.Look forward to making some new friends. Probably prefer Ayr or Prestwick though as Kilmarnock bit too close to home for me but suppose could always go in disguise

Been having a wee think and it's probably easiest to hold it in ayr itself. Lots of pubs to choose from and also plenty of hotels and guest houses for anyone who wants to stay over xxx

Us Ayrshire folk aren't *that* far behind these days! Don't have any problems with the trains down here lol, we've even got electric ones on some lines!

Would really appreciate suggestions for pubs in ayr -I tend to go out in Glasgow these days cause of work xxx

west kirt mcarthurs, west of the moon, etc they are all good pubs and i used to haunt them on works night out.

all the other went to some have changed there name etc

Just to let you know I'll be offline from tomorrow til the 12th June but it's still going ahead on the 13th!

Hey! Sorry I've been off on holiday last week and just back today. Managed to get burnt to a crisp but still planning on having Saturdays wee get together, if I'm not too sore!!!

My plan is to reserve a table from 7pm if that suits everyone as I know it can get busy in there. If you want to, PM me and I'll reply with my mobile number as I know it can be a bit daunting if it's your first social gathering! But you cannae miss me when I'm 6ft tall and glowing like a well skelped arse! Xxx
