With the school disco social fast approaching was just wondering what everyone's memories of your school disco are.was it a great night was it a fashion disaster or did you meet the love of your life or have your first snog.
Personally I only had one school disco and that was my 6th and last year off school and was for cash for kids fund raiser for the then radio Clyde 261.mr x files. |

My one and only was 1st year high school way too young and innocent then no much changed then apart from the young bit haha.
My school had a policy if playing monstrous amounts of wet wet wet at any chance (very proud if its former pupils) so that's my abiding memory of school discos that and early 90s was the grunge era not always the most attractive look lol |

Spent a few years with a massive crush on one of the popular girls in school, and after largely ignoring me for that entire time, I was extremely surprised when at a 4th year party she decided to dance with me and flirt with me all night. Culminating in, what seemed like at the time, the greatest few moments of my life when we snogged to the last song of the night.
That elation didn't last long though when I turned up at school the following week and it turned out she had only done it to try and make her boyfriend, some giant of a 6th year guy, jealous. And I had to spend the next few months wondering if/when my kickin was coming. |

Hated school disco's at high school was the carry out before i remember nothing else lol
although my hate of school disco's came from primary school when if it was raining during dinner break we would be in the hall listening to the fucking birdie song back to back for the full hour
too this day if i hear that song i curl up in a corner shaking uncontrollably ffs it didn't even have any words |
