Hi Scottish fabbers we are visiting Loch Lomond soon and staying at Loch Lomond holiday park . Any tips for where to visit in the area would be greatly appreciated xxx thanks guys

On a serious note....The East Neuk of Fife and St Andrews is well worth a trip. Beautiful scenery and ahem...charming and welcoming people....

Stirling has a castle and the Wallace monument and 5 minutes up the road from there is Banockburn....Both Glasgow and Stirling are within 45 minutes off where you are staying.you have so meny options from where you are....

Make sure u get cpl bottles avon skin so soft as midges quite bad up there ,and try ardlui hotel good food and entertainment .x

Each to their own I guess. I'm in there every other week. Sure it's not Witherspoons and it is very 'period' decor and ok, you feel pissed walking to the bar with the sloping floor but that's half it's charm. If you like old n quirky (and a ton of stuffed animals!) then it's a cracking place, good food and cozy.

damn right!! The birds n bees pub in stirling has fake sheep, low ceilings, flagstone floors, feels so cosy and small.. but its probably the top rated place for food/small events in the whole city! !!

I second that ,lol we had a caravan in Aunstruther ,loved it ,also had far to many chippies too
