If you're low on confidence and self esteem and really shy. Would you join a swingers site where you have pictures of your body on display? Or have I been had?
Thoughts and opinions welcome. |

A lot use the low self esteem and little confidence card when things dont go their way, loads lack it though loads use it to get an ego boost.I have a confidence issue with a certain part of my body and choose not to show pics of it for this reason, for folk to say they have low body confidence then plaster pics I just dont get it |

I never used to put so many up of myself cause I'm not 100% happy with my body and I sometimes do get a little awkward about it but being on here has given me a lot more confidence.
I think when people say they're shy, it's just an anxiety thing. I can get quite shy meeting new folk, yes even if they have seen my 'bits' but it's just the way I am, I soon come out my shell though.. |

" If you're low on confidence and self esteem and really shy. Would you join a swingers site where you have pictures of your body on display? Or have I been had?
Thoughts and opinions welcome." Im a very very confidant person.
I have an issue with my tummy after surgery two years ago, guys dont seem to find it as much of a problem as i do and when im on a meet i always try and keep it coverd up .
I decided last year to put a photo on my profile which very clearly shows my scar
and at that time it was more to see if anyone would say anything about it which has never happened,in a way it was a test to myself to see if people were as grossed out about my scar than i am and i think its been proved to me that they arnt, so in effect that has given me some more confidence and stopped me from stressing out so much about it but i still to this day keep it covered on meets |

Confidence in most people is a fragile and variable thing and as we can see from most posts in this thread affects a variety of bright, intelligent and seemingly confident people in many ways |

I could guess that i know the status update from that jbob is talking about, i could also guess that she'd not appreciate a topic being made out of it...but at least if she did see it then there are some positive comments from women for her to take heart in. |

I am exactly the same. Only I personalise a lot. Slowly getting on top of that though. Good luck lovey. |

I'm a fairly confident person now but it hasn't always been the case . Being on fab baa definitely given me the added extra confidence that I at one point wasn't 100% I had . I am who I am and my scars and stretch marks are evidence that I've lived and I look at it as a map of where and what my body body has been though. |

" my scars and stretch marks are evidence that I've lived and I look at it as a map of where and what my body body has been though. " I thought the same shelly that my scar is a reminder of what I went through at that time but I still hate it and altho I know it doesn't look anything like it did back then that mental image is still with me |

Just a thought.
Isn't the lack of confidence being displayed down to the completely ridiculous and impossible body image pressure created by society and the media with stick insects as role models and airbrushed photography all designed to fulfil an impossible and downright stupid "norm"
I too have rather horrendous scarring under my shirt but as an old bloke the "body beautiful" aspiration has long since gone though I understand young men today undergo similar pressure in the looks area to young women.
Lets all agree that we've been led down a garden path and rebel against it |
