Just managed to escape on Thursday after 15 years of having to do other peoples work because of continuous sickness !! It's rife in the council.... if you're going to pay people 6 months full sick pay then certain people will use it like holidays !!! So glad I am out of it, it's a disgrace !

Agree been looking to get out of public sector for a year or so ,so many people us sick for extra holidays same ones every year and so many of managers no bothered about waste of public cash as to busy building mini empires hate the place but mortgage to pay so have to stick untill new job

Im a term time worker loads of holidays although any sickness days im not paid which is fully understandable

Certainly it good conditions if you have family ie time off and can take some days off is a child ill.

Council's are really understanding when they find their employees on sites like these with their chebs or cocks out and a nice facial pic. Still the Chief Executives have to get their day in somehow.
