Depending on your budget, the Witchery on the royal mile, expensive but worth it IMO.

A wee bit pricy but angels with bagpipes on the Royal Mile has a romantic atmosphere and the food is excellent x

The witchery can be hit or miss. Try Bistro Moderne by Mark Greenaway, never had anything but an amazing meal in there!

Thanks everyone. ..

I actually stayed in the witchery for my 40th.... beautiful place but I fancy somewhere different.

Will check out some of these. At a concert tomorrow night and then down to visit my dad on Wed so only tonight to go somewhere nice to eat
