i have been thinking that for our capital city not to have many socials is a bit of a waste so just out of curiosity i have been lookin into maybe hold 1 in the near future and i am looking to find out who would actually be interested in attending.
Obviously till i know aproximate numbers i cant look at bookin venues yet and finding out prices per person but as soon as i know any details ill post em here asap.
im hoping to make it a themed night so suggestions on a theme would be gr8ly appreciated too and dont worry entertainment wont be me sittin with my guitar lmfao.

ok sorry bout this ppl, but due to unforseen circumstances the social will be around the 23rd of may, but at least the venue ive been lookin at can have us then

right so far the list of themes has been gr8 but the most interesting sounding 1 to me has been a pirate theme.
ill explain why:
the date the 23rd of may is significant to scotland and piracy due to it being the anniversary of Captain William Kidd, one of scotlands most famour privateers ever , being hung. im sure u have all heard of him, if not well anything u wanna know is easily available but tbh that wont matter too much since we all know what a pirate costume looks like lol.
anyway id love to hear evry1's opinion on this theme, and some of the others suggested.
so far we have had these themes suggested that havent been posted on the forum yet,
dress as what u wanted to be when u grow up
dress as ur fav musician from any era
a medevil theme(i like for obvious reasons)
and rocky horror theme(but this 1 has already been done boohoohooo ) |

although all good idea`s or just a social with no theme would be just as cool

ok all spaces gone now, ill be making a short reserve list from now so if ur still interested get ur name down as spaces will be 1st come 1st served if any1 pulls out.
also ticket prices are £6 per head, there will be a mail sent out very soon re payment options and last date for payments to be paid in

we will be having the pirate them as this has recieved most feedback from evry1 that has talked to me about it, so any1 wishing to dress up please feel free to dress accordingly.
also i have been thinking maybe it would be a good idea to auction ppl off for the night to raise a wee bit of money for charity so any1 interested in being auctioned please contact me asap. i of course will be auctioned off since im the 1 posting the idea, its only fair that way. to be clear the auction will happen fairly early in the night and the duration will be specified by the person being auctioned off prior to the event and i will put up a list of who will be available and for how long, then u can all decide what u will be willing to bid up to.
all monies raised will be going to a very good cause. so please be generous with the bidding |

well for the auction i was pretty much thinkn just the person who wins u gets to have u to do what they want for a cpl hours at the social, if u wanna agree diff terms then feel free to post what ur willing to do. obviously i dont expect all ppl being auctioned off to give up thier whole night to do some1 elses bidding that would be no fun for them but atm its just an idea i have been considering and would really like to improve on. all money that is raised by it will be donated to the Marie Curie Cancer charity, any1 who knows me well enough will understand why i have chosen this particular charity atm.
also debbs hun it wasnt a wall, it was some 1 from the other party next door charging out the door as i was tryin to come in it, bloody thing whacked me in the nose lol.
anyway no more spaces left, only taking names for reserve list now so please if u need anymore tickets let me know and ill let u know if any space becomes available |

ffs i`m no being feckin auctioned off it could have serious consequences
i.e i dress as a sailor as kinkyfunseeker suggested above then view goes all mushy cause i look cute ( or so they say )he then bids for me then uses me to clean his feckin gun
or scenario 2 bren bids for me and makes me be her foot stool all feckin night,and her feet are honking lol

Ok here goes (i hope i don't come to regret this lol) well I'm willing to put myself up for auctioning but i do have some terms on what i want to be auctioned for. It's L from gandl who is saying this and what I would like is to be auctioned for a night of girlie fun, now whether that is just one lady or more is up to those who want to bid for me - I'm happy with all scenarios on the girlie front! Was thinking I may auction myself for a few Dirty Dances at a fiver a head (yeah I know I'm worth sooooooo much more) but I'll decide on the night). Even if a couple of ladies or lads offer a fiver each then at least we may raise £20 or £30 quid.
