See this advertised loads recently and was thinking could be a good night for a cause that is close to both our hearts. So just seeing if any of our friends or people weve chatted to on here would fancy it. The basics are u stay in grab some food n a bottle n what you would spend on a night out we donate to the charity. Reply or send us a wee pm if interested x

Ok well seen as how a few peeps are interested n im sure there will be a few more what kinda dates are good for everyone? Im thinking either first weekend in may or the last? It wouldnt take to much organising really so let me know thoughts on dates.

Ok it's decided.
Saturday 31st May is our Macmillan night in, BYOB and donations in the jar on entry, meet some fellow fab members while raising money for a great charity, 6PM until late (BBQ with weather permitting)
All welcome (yup even you)

"Unfortunately no meetings for us just now as I'm in the middle of my cemo and radiotherapy.at the Beatson in Glasgow run by Macmillan trust..I owe them big time ."

i organise charity socials in cardiff now and then always good to help cancer. but will be holding quite a few AT HOME charity bashes its a brill idea social fun while helping. good luck to all who do it  |

How about setting a minimum donation deter the tight arsed its for a truely worthy cause after all ps those of us bring soft drink aint tight areses just driving lol maybe |

No i dont think this is fair as everyones financial circumstances are different it just just be a donation that suits individuals pockets xxx

Yeah everyone is able to put in whatever they feel they'd like, setting a minimum means that some might not turn up, we'd rather something went in the bucket than nothing
Also we fill in the thing at the end of the night with how much n post it off to them (well that or a bank transfer as that seems easier) it's all tax deductible too so means the charity gets extra money too which is good

Yeah this month is a busy month prepping the place for so many visitors
Got a feeling it's going to be a great night, already losing track of the guest list but will sort it this weekend with any luck
