Use fab?
As someone who has been on fab for a good few yrs have seen many come and go plus the good and the bad the ups and the downs
I was just curious to know how many folk on here are actually on fab to meet and have sex or are on here to just chat and flirt?

I feel it's different in the way of people's mind sets they forget this is a swinging site not a insta-sex site when I was playing before it was relaxed and taking in a good stride now it seems to be "right I'm horny or I'm bored let's fuck!"
plus I'm a picky bitch lol

Back in the day the majority if your meets were thru the chatrooms were banter to and fro went on But now Its all young guys n chicks in there and very clique,so think Its getting much harder to the genuine folk out now

Its changed for me too - used to be more about swinging, chatting to couples organising fun at parties and such like
Not had a conversation with anyone via messages for a while on fab, i come on to read forums and see who's going to cjs and thats about it really
Lost its spark for me a wee while ago - not so much a swingers site more like a lets meet for a quick shag and thats not for me

I prefer to be on the periphery of swinging and I have no desire to be part of a particular club/party groupie set.

Chat, banter ,socials , parties, clubs, forums, msgs, meets- for socials, hopefully leading to fun if all parties agreed , pictures both taking and seeing others , updates of friends and occasionally chat room but that's changed a lot since joining fab over 2 yrs ago ..xx |

I try to use it to chat and become more involved in the scene but it's kinda hard to fit in here-either you connect via messages which are mostly people looking for a quick meet n go, or you're one of the old crew who all seem to know each other. I will however make it my mission to try not to annoy you all and will start posting in forums and hopefully get to know some fun people (I'm a nice girl really!!) |

Well here's my tuppence worth.
Fab is no different from most other things, you get out of it what you put into it. If for whatever reason you get a bit disenchanted with it and don't participate much, then you're not likely to get much out of it!
I've been around for I think about 6 years, operating as a 'single' guy, and it's never been easy getting meets. I've experienced the deleted messages, the not even a 'thanks but no thanks' etc etc. But I've also met a number of ladies, and had some of the best experiences of a previously rather sheltered life.
However, I've never been to a club, attended a party or a social, participated in the chatrooms, or met a lady through the forums. It's all been done the hard way, via messaging.
It's down to each individual to decide what they want, and to go and get it, but always remember the three 'P's; patience, patience, patience.
What's for sure, is that moaning will get you nowhere! |

To be fair, yes the site has changed but so have I. It is unfair to blame the site, the forums & the chatrooms.
I don't want to participate in the things I used to, I don't want to reinvent the olden/golden days, it would never be the same. Like going back to the place you had a great holiday, it is never quite the same.
I just enjoy the bits I enjoy today and laugh at the good times from 4/5/6 years ago.

Anytime I do want to meet, which is rare these days for obvious reasons, I don't get anywhere. People just chat, talk shite then disappear when it's time to meet. I've never had a problem with time wasters until the last 6 months or so, it's getting ridiculous.
Barely use the forums these days cause I just get banned. Don't even get me started on Scotland chat rooms, almost shot myself in the face last time I was in there... |

Like has been said, the site has changed, but then so have we. Very rarely go in the Scottish chat room anymore, forums in our opinion have gone downhill. Happy now just to stick with the friends we already have  |
