Usually when people state a preference in a post, they get shot down totally. One the other day got removed brcsause of all the sarcastic comments. Gets tiresome, but happens a lot unfortunately  |

I do agree with the first statement people should be able to ask or post what they like and not have the post out of hand or get abuse the second statement however is a contradiction as your telling people they shouldn't comment on these posts well why not? Forums is a place for freedom of speech and also to express your opinions on a subject I someone finds a comment abusive that is what the report buttons for |

Not sure what you're meaning by being shot down but if you mean other posters disagreeing and posting then that's totally legitimate. Some OP's start a thread then get upset that others have opposing _iews, in my _iew there's nothing wrong with that and I've found that some of the most interesting threads have been where there are two opposing camps, makes for good discussion which is what the forums are all about. |

think you will find that there is no such thing as freedom of speech in the forums anymore , years ago yes the scotish forums were fun , to many these days think they are the only ones that can do say and act as they wish , which has resulted in loads banned and some scared to say what they think .Its a shame as there used to be some decent posts and fun banter , its all shit these days and anything decent never lasts long  |

I can only agree with both sides of the coin. Yes bizarre perhaps but true.
One thread did start to get out of hand and a bit personal this week and was pulled.
Some have said a heavy handed reaction to people just stating.their opinions. Perhaps , but I have had my wings clipped a few times for just being frank in my opinions. I wont be changing to follow the flock anytime soon though.

As with all the forums, it depends who posts male or female, established poster or new, the tone of the post and luck.
It is what it is and ain't gonna change, in any loacal scene there will be people who get on and those who don't. Some keep bad feeling off the forums/chat, some don't.
You will witness people complain about being lashed in the forums, once they are established & have some popularity, they do the very same they once complained about. |

Well there was a post and a guy was asking about dogging obv no one says were ppl go dogging publicly but the answers ppl were giving the person was just harsh instead of trying to help |

A lot of people who frequent the forums and chat and other parts of the site tend to think that those things/people/ groups are the be all and end all of the site.....
The site is a whole lot bigger than just them places .....whole big site out there with lots of lush people ....
Just saying
But then again some who frequent are great you just gotta use your common sence .... Perhaps like me the forums and chat can help you really see who is who and what is what....sometimes in a good way sometimes not. |
