Just signed up for race for life and was wondering if anyone has done it what it was like ?? I've lost people close to me thru cancer and thot why not get off my arse n do something !! |

I done it a few years ago it's amazing I would do it this year but I am due my baby like 2 weeks later
Good for you for doing it get a just giving page sorted and get fabbers to donate xx |

Done it a few times with friends & family. Great day but with mixed emotions as nearly everyone has been affected by cancer someway or another.
I'm looking forward to doing to again this year too x |

did one a few years back with my daughter, (while I was recovering from breast cancer). we walked, and cried all the way round, just reading the messages on peoples backs!! |

I did it after my five years clear with another furumite, we met in the middle in Edinburgh.
Unfortunately my cancer is now recurring and my father is terminal so if anyone fancies doing it with me I'd be happy to give it another go ..... may have to walk this one though as my stamina is not as it used to be. Cancer is an unforgiving illness. |
