As kids, my younger brother used to hound me to wish him "sweet dreams" every at lights out, in the belief that because someone else was bestowing this good-will upon you, you would'nt have nightmares. Being the typical older brother, I used to him tease him about this being so 'lame' but would end up saying it.. just to shut him up!
Years later (oh, how history repeats) & with an 8yr old sometimes troubled by 'bad' dreams. I told him this story & that it actually works, so every at lights out (even when I'm working away from home).. we all have to wish each other "sweet dreams", lol even Mrs.Classy needs this physcological re-assurance as a nightly ritual lol... but guess what... it's worked!
No more 'bad' dreams .
This is a public service broadcast brought to all parents of young children
