Were they really that bad ?
Was having a conversation about them with colleagues and we agreed the only good thing about them was the puddings .
I also hated the warm milk yeuckkk lol

I loved school dinners! Probably because it was all the 'bad' stuff for the first few years at primary before they introduced all the healthy stuff lol used to even get hot chocolate and tea when i was in primary lol

In my experience of working in schools for umpteen years I would have to say that the meals are only as good as the cook. We had several wonderful cooks who turned out fantastic meals which children and staff thoroughly enjoyed and another who...although following the same guidelines and using the same ingredients made a dogs dinner of it ....quite literally. But....the puddings were legend. School custard....yum! |
