Single fem profiles.

Are we the only ones to notice that some (but definitley not all) single female profiles have an unjustifiably high opinion of themselves?
We know that they're a minority on a site like this, but some of the profiles are laughable, some are downright rude (no excuse for that. Manners cost nothing).
Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this? |

i've noticed quite a few profiles like u mention and for me it just puts me right off even thinking about messaging them. Some are just cringeworthy and with what's wrote I would be expecting a supermodel at the other end at lease lol

I don't think its just single female profiles on here, I've read a few male & couples too & find them similar. Lots of 'WE DON'T'S" & "YOU MUST HAVE'S" or bare minimum information is more common on the male profiles...give a girl something to read! lol |

I mean let's be honest your profile is the first thing ppl see (unless they go straight for your pics lol) so shouldn't it be worded slightly better so that ppl do want to contact you? I'm not saying don't put in the "do's and donts" but at least word it better lol. I read some and think "aye right could wake up minus a few body parts here" :0) |

MMMM not going to get into a serious debate about this but as being a single few thought id comment.
Like a few of my mates who are single fems also state what we want and what we dont want (ie married men a no no and a age limit.)
My profile so i have been told comes across a tad abknoxious but it has never ever stopped me getting meets and basically i dont give a damm what ppl think of my profile been swinging far too long for that.
At the end of the day its freedom of speech and if ya dont want to meet the ones whos profiles are full of do's and dont's then dont meet them but dont judge them as they have their reasons for creating the profiles in such a manner.

as a single fem i like to have a laugh at me self afore any one deceids to take piss ..in stead lol but then i claim to be exactly what i am mischievous (aye spelt wrang) an a weeble wobbles so i really dont thnk as a single fem i am misleading anyone .
but yes some profiles can come across as rather harsh i like to keep mine str8 to point an then have a laugh about it lol.
as we all know swinging cannot an must not be taken to serious but ..... we can all have a alaugh as well as enjoy what we like .
so yes in agreement with xix as well as bren as single fems do have to be more selective as well as more secure in themsleves and in what they want as to who an when they meet .
so at end of day its more a personal choice what you put on profile an those that like your profile an honesty will accept . so its what we on here for and what we read into them whats on a profile at end of day counts

As a single fem I think my profile is friendly and not misleading.
I have seen profiles with all the do's and donts and some rude single fem ones as well , while i agree manners costs nothing, I am also of the opinion people can portray themselves anyway they like , if shes not a 'supermodel' to u , she might be to someone else and who says a single fem shouldnt think highly of herself. Go for it girls write ur profiles exactly how u want them and good luck to u , and guys try writing something on ur profile , we know u are horny , but that alone doesnt make us single fems wet and horny and want to jump yer bones. |

The problem with trying to fill in a profile whether you be a single male/female or a couple or whatever is to get across what you are looking for without writing a version of war & peace.
I think sometimes the obvious of chatting to someone helps gain a better idea of wants/likes/dislikes etc.
I do agree with the post above that initial attraction is drawn to pictures before some read the text.
On the subject of profiles, my only slight gripe is singles that are technically are not single and have a partner located in the midst of their profile. If you are looking for someone to play with both of you then surely that means your not single as your playing as a 2some.....or am I stating the obvious lol |

Nope, this is a very valid point.
We both play with singles but do so through our couple profile.
There are a hoard of single profiles on the site who have a partner they won't meet without.
They, in our opinion, should have a couple profile as they very clearly aren't single. |

Yep kay, we've had a few "couples" contact us who turn out to be singles.
One of them had a sudden arguement and split up a few hours before we were meant to meet them but the male still wanted to come anyway. lol

Totally agree with the original post! Some single females do have a high opinion of themselves and when you meet them they have a face like a bag of spanners, an arse like two monkey's fighting in a bag and are as loose as a builders welly!!!!! Oh yeah and more often than not they take a good 10 years off their age!!! Get real girls eh!!! |

i must say iv seen profiles that make people sound like they are supermodels then you see pics or hear from word of mouth and......... they aint all that lol!!!!
mine is about me its honest, straight to the point and hopefully cuts out some of the crap messages that get sent in the faint hope of some nitwit gettin his baws emptied 
will put my hand up though and admit when iv seen some people that some guys have poked its a big no from me!!!
but iv also seen some profiles that are funny and written really good.

Never claim to be anything im not have met almost 200 maybe more ppl on here at diffrent social events and they all know who i am and what i look like

i would say our profile and the pics that we summitted are in our humble opinion genuine and true .... but i would have too agree with the genuine census of the room that some people do not read the profiles..
we have put in bold writing no single guys , couples only... but alas we continue to get bombarded with winks and messages from single men .....hoping that they are the one to make us change our minds .lol....
please all you single men out there no offence intended but we will not meet you so no more messages thank you .....

its a personal choice what to put on your profile and at the end of the day you cannot and should not please everyone......
My profile is direct and to some stroppy...and to those who find it stroppy and dont contact me...good!!
I value myself...as should everyone and I write my profile for me..cos its me thats playing!
At least those who contact me are more likely to be who im looking for and are not intimidated easily...result!!! lol
Just as in the REAL world you cannot like and get on with everyone....so it should be the same here....generic is bland!

A lot of People don't bother reading Profiles and just Message anyway, I enjoy some of them and have a laugh reading them, some put me off but there's Hundreds of Profiles that sound really good as well |

hmm reckon its not just single fems , ok yes there are some that are a bit agressive and demanding , but id rather have a profile to read than one snetence along the lines of "looking for fun " . plenty of couples and single guys profiles that arent exactly great in my opnion . think its just that single fems are quite obviously in high demand and can be picky , demanding and if they werent single fems just plain rude . iv seen profiles for women that say nothing and i mean nothing not a word in the entire thing and yet they got verifications , i think as long as single guys are going to look there are always going to be these profiles kicking about , each to their own i say . |

When Steven and I first joined a swingers site (not this one) a good few years ago I would read other peoples profiles and think OMG they think a lot of themselves.
BUT one day I was at a mates house for a coffee and in 10 minutes she got almost 50 messages NONE of which had done anything other than look at her pics and the opening line of her profile. She asked me to look at the emails and tell me what she should do (because I had been moaning about people with no manners and block caps in profiles) I looked down the list of people emailing her and thought hell I would have a list longer than hers to rule out most.
Now she was very clear on her age limits and likes and dislikes - something like No couples, only guys up to age 40 but still couples emailed her as did guys over 50.
She then moved the likes and dislikes up to the top of her profile (so people had no excuse for not seeing it) and still she got the same type of emails. She then highlighted that part (you could do that on the other site) and still no difference. By this point she was asking for help to sort thru all the emails, and I could tell (with my limited experience) that they were not who she was looking for.
She then got peeved and put a huge portion of her text in caps her reason was so it would help her cut down the emails from people she had no interest in.
So sometimes what we read is the result of years of tinkering and having to deal with unwanted emails. I know I have moved my likes and dislikes up and down my profile depending on what type of messages I am getting at a certain point in time - it has no bearing whatsoever on the people who can read and do read profiles before messaging its more because I get sick of being asked something which I have stated very clearly, so I move it higher up and see if it helps for a few weeks.
The other thing I wanted to add is I dont think Im the most beautiful woman in the world but my husband does. What I find attractive someone else may not, so just because you may think Im a minger or fugly doesnt mean the next guy will.
Beauty being in the eye of the beholder and all that

No Bren  , my mate no longer swings and she was never on this site.
She got sick of being abused and decided she wasnt happy now she still asks about what fun we have but couldnt deal with the problems she encountered

Well I will admit, I have had to 'tinker' with mine quite a few times, as if you leave it nice and friendly, you get messaged by all sorts, so now I think be as straight forward as possible (hopefully without being rude) and it has worked a treat lol.....no longer need to trawl through the mass of emails, lucky if I get a few a day lol x |

Very true this xix, however I think it's down to the volume of mail a single lass receives...therefore she can afford to be choosy and pick the best of the bunch..... Im sure on a good day, a lass can get over 100 messages, so it must be a massive boost for their ego mate.... |
