Jungle Fever Swingers Event Night

A social with a bang

Where: Edinburgh

Date: September 11th 2010

Cost: £6.00 per ticket

Time: 7pm to 1am

This is the first event that myself and Bigg g will be organizing in the Edinburgh area for swingers. We have secured a very luxurious venue for the event and we will be making this social one of the best in the UK. Places are limited to a maximum of 150 people, so please book early.

The theme for the night is jungle fever, and we really encourage everyone to take part and dress up. For every person that dresses up, we shall have a complimentary jungle punch upon arrival and there will be two prizes given out on the night, one for best dressed female, one for best dressed male.

Were leaving the theme open to interpretation, fake fur, gorilla suits, Tarzan, what ever your imagination sees as jungle

We will be organizing some mixer games throughout the night and of course, there will be the raffle. The two choices of charities are: The Scottish Autism Society and Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS). If anyone has any raffle prizes that they would like to donate for the night, these would be gratefully received. Just find me or Bigg g on the night and we will add them to the prize table.

We have secured a discount with near by hotels, please email either myself or bigg g, to get the discount code needed before booking the hotel.

Venue details will be emailed to those that have confirmed and paid for tickets, a few days before the event. Any ticket cancellations before the event will not be able to be refunded.

Please state on this post if you want to go, and we shall email payment details to you.

dont know what it is with travel lodges at the moment, they seem to be going down hill, we stayed in the aberdeen one a couple of years ago and it was a right dive.

Come on guys... Elle (and Bigg G) have spent a lot of their time and effort to organise this social for the good of the local swinging community so get your money out your wallets and pay the girl!!

All the socials we have been to since been on the site have been a brilliant evening. Always good to meet new and old friends alike and have a laugh and a giggle.

Sure this will be even better.

the people who put their names down and havent had the decency to advise they can't go and not paid up are an utter disgrace. treat people the way you would like to be treated.

Yes its very sad ppl dont have the decency to say they aint coming or to pay up on time but as is always the way they all want to come until the mere mention of payment is due they dont wanna know such a shame cause im sure atomic and bigg have had to turn many down due to it filling with non payers anyway hope they all stump up or at least contact u to say they aint coming xxxx

Here's my 2d worth.

You pay for your tickets within two weeks of putting your name down, or you lose your places. The organisers have put a lot of time, effort and funds into these events, and the last thing they need is to be out of pocket at the end of the day.

In light of the recent troubles with the Glasgow social we have decided that the announcement of the social will be slightly different for this one.

We will require everyone that has paid for a ticket to supply a textable number ( we will not keep names etc and numbers will be disposed of after texts are sent)

We will send out the first part of the postcode for the area by 12 noon on the saturday and also the pub that we will be meeting in for pre social drinks.

The venue details will be supplied by 6.30pm on the saturday evening.

The cut off for this is 3rd september, this is when i supply my door staff with the final lists of people attending and confirm with the venue the exact number of people, after this date no other names can be added

Good news, spoken to the venue, and they know that this is a charity mixer night for an adult dating site and i have also informed them of the possibility of people trying to sabbotage the event.

I wont need anyones number as i will just send emails through the site to inform of the venue details a few days before the event, as originally planned

I'd be inclined to now start taking names for the reserve list and giving them the places.
