Very good advice and the thought is very appealing to me, however I do not posses a bath just a walk in shower. Trying to shower this morning was hell. I went to run my hands through my hair as the water was flowing over my chest, felt great until I realised my arms felt like they were a rubber band with razor blades. My own fault....... xxx |

I normally do a good warm up but not been to the gym for a few months. Typical bloke thinking I can lift as much weight as I was just before I stopped going. |

Minimum 4 litres of water daily and at least, very least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight daily.
Keep going and you won't need to bother with stretching. Just warm up with increasing weight. |

Muscle-Fever! That distinctive pain which follows intense or unfamiliar exercise. The pain usually gets worse over the next two days leading to it being also known as DOMS, or delayed onset muscle soreness. There is nothing can be done about it, although its true that drinking plenty of water, eating protein or regular massages can sometimes lessen the pain somewhat. Definitely take some painkillers though to make yourself more comfortable meantime.
Good luck and don't give up. |

Now SOME people might see the bed of nails as a macho challenge - or as a kinky night out.
lol

Get into a routine and alternate exersises (body areas)
I do 1 day legs+ chest (toning), 1 day Arms and Back (heavy), 1 day Cardio and Shoulders (toning), Rest Day, 1 day legs (Heavy), 1 day Arms and Back (heavy), Rest day.
That's just my routine though. Try reading mens health magazine etc but take advice from others in the gym and your Doctor as well before ramping up the training.
Enjoy fella |
