To no longer believe in love to be honest I'm beginning to think there is no such thing yes I have seen many of my friends adore and cherish each other but really to my view it seems silly emotion to even be used
What's your opinion? |

I do believe in love but then I'm an old romantic. I do think there are different types of love though.
Having said that, I'm happier not being in love. I much prefer lust, nothing quite like a good honest shag. Lol.

I think most people get a bit jaded by the idea of love at some point.
but then just when your not expecting it, it creeps up on you.

I consider myself happily single and have been for years and during this period, while I've had a great sex life, as I've got older I have to admit that I've started to miss somebody to snuggle up with on a night and chat through things with, plenty of eros missing the agape 
Then again, what woman that offered agape to me would accept me disappearing to the other side of the world for months on end at the drop of a hat? |

See that warm, inflating feeling you get when you see your kids sleeping in funny positions and probably making funny breating noises .... that's love x
It could happen again after time away from assholes/bitches and useless shites. I'm 2 years in the clear, nae looking for it yet but I ken fit it is fan it comes  |

The love u have for your children and the love u have for someone "partner" is totally different I adore and cherish my daughter she's just a child who has no idea of the world yet and I want to protect her the best I can!
Where in my partner I am in awe of him he makes me feel something that I have never felt before and I feel sad when we are not together he loves and protects me and that's love haha I'm in love and I love it!! Haha xx |

In all honesty I believe in love, think some might be afraid of it and are less likely to commit to it in the fear of being hurt/taken advantage of and so keep a barrier up or try to distance themselves from it as a way to prevent this happening.
Those who say they don't believe in it are probably the ones holding themselves back and being a little sinical or untrusting of others, we're all hard wired to love whether it be of material/physical or just your likes/dislikes.
We cannot help what we love or not as it just makes us who we are and everyone's different.
Maybe just taking you longer to find the happy medium as love and hate can be a very fine line as sometimes we love hating something or vice versa hate loving something lol
