A teeming horde of gnomes, led by Fugy, Son Of Fugy, from the Arbroath Branch of the SWRI rocked and tipped Mucky Trucker's Ice Cream Van before setting it alight.
Twelve hours later its smoldering hull still visible by the curbside.
During the SWRI tea break from cake baking classes, an unsuspecting and hapless Gis pulled his "truck" alongside the SWRI hall.
"They were on the truck in seconds," recalled a dazed and wounded Gis. Witnesses corroborated the story, adding it was like a "tide of munchkin sharks circling their quarry".
The attack came in the wake of other SWRI gnome related criminality in the small East Coasttown, and as skyrocketing fish prices have forced the gnomes from their gardens and out onto the streets.
Gis was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for wounds suffered when he was impaled on a stack of sugar cones....  |
