i thought 12 years a slave was ok,its a fantastic story of course and the performances by michael fassbender and lupito nyongo were great, but i felt it lacked something that i couldnt quite put my finger on.
that said its definitely worth watching and i will be reading the book. |

"Interesting to see that most of the films named so far are about real life people rather than fictional characters."
That's because you feel you can connect to those people feel for them because it's happened to then my personal opinion x. |

think your right about that, also that the movie world (especially hollywood studios) tend to exaggerate aspects of fictional characters. Larger than life escapism makes for good box office figures but not necessarily great or classic films |

"In Brugge had everything I look for in a film, brilliant.
Midgets in school uniform "
Midgets doing lines off a hooker's tits.
All films should fit that into the plot somehow, name me a film that wouldn't be improved by this! |
