Gran Canaria is brilliant, take a few ferry trips around the island while you're there. It's only €5 for a return to anywhere on the island.

Take a trip down to the Dunas and get your kit off. lol

Sometimes you can even see people doing it in the Dunas, not always a pretty sight.
