I suffer from this from time to time and have tried various methods to help manage it. Including reading some boring forums..
I wondered if anyone who currently or previously has similar sleep issues would like to share tips that have worked..
as a last resort I may have to book into
Nurse Ratshit's in the hope she can administer her magic pills!!! |

I have chronic clinical insomnia, can go days without any sleep at all, been like this for 20+ years. Usually end up doing my ironing and housework at 4am.
I've heard that Ratshit is the fab equivalent of Freddie Kreuger (but much uglier), so you are probably better off staying awake!! |

ffs that's bad.. tat my Worst I've went 48 hours with 3 hours sleep.. usually essential oils work but not when im in overdrive mode..

9 days on 2 hrs sleep is my current running total. Haven't actually bothered going to bed since a week past Sunday!!
No "blue light" 2 hrs before bed time (ie laptop, phone), No caffeine after 7pm, carbs make you sleepy and can set off the serotonin hormone which aids sleep. Make sure your room is completely dark and quiet. (I can't even bear my watch ticking).
Failing that, get pissed and wake up on Friday lol x |

I have a reverse insomnia. No problem getting to sleep. But once awake that's it I'm awake. Doesn't matter if its an hour or 5 hours. Have learned to live with it |

won't happen if you force it... you have to out the day to bed before you put yourself to bed - that was the shit the sleep clinic told me before kicking me out as there was feck all they could do lol |

What they mean is you have to have finished the things you were doing that day or at least put them mentaly aside and agree to returnto them later before your brain will let itself rest and allow you to sleep |

A dose suffer from this as well he's been on a lot of different sleeping pills body's run out but the mind keeps going relaxation, lavender oil. hot bath. turning every thing of. two much caffeine. eating before bed something light turkey sandwich or banana is got something in it to help sleep. blindfold. soft music. or earplugs. watch a film. dont drink alcohol. masturbate. write things down and deal with them the next day. hope some of these help |
