Is it the time to forgive and forget, had a few disagreements this year but it doesn't mean that I don't like someone because they don't have the same opinion as me , so I would just like to say , it's been an eventful year, it's been a conflicting year but it's as usual been a fab year, next year won't be any different, if I upset you, let it go, if I oftentimes you I apologise in advance if I disagree with you, get set for another round of arguments, but please never take it personally, xxxxxxxxx it's just fab life xxxx |

Have found out that it's sometimes to late to say sorry, so for the last seven years have found it easier to say, if you give me grief if you give me shit, if you give me sorrow, I will always respect your view because you have the right to your views xxxxxx

95% of people I have had fall outs with or who have hurt and offended me I will in time forgive , however there is a small 5% that I have given chances and they have repeated their behaviors or have done some things that are horrible and nasty ,that I have vowed I will never break breath with again. It takes a lot in order not to get my forgiveness . Silly disagreements I am definitely of the opinion that I will forgive and forget as I dont like carrying about anger and bad feelings around with me and if I can fix things with the majority of people I will . So here's to less bickering and hostility throughout life be it on fab or in reality in the new year   |

prefer to keep things real pretend ive forgiven pretend that folks shitty behaviour will be forgotten for them to do the same over and over again nope not me once my minds made up its final no reprieves no second third so on so fourth chances sometimes the best way forwards isnt turn the other cheek only gets slapped twice as hard  |

Ive learned that Holding a grudge only makes you unhappy in the long run
I try to find peace in my heart so I like to forgive and try to forget //
I know I have been given plenty second chances in my time so its only fair to try and make peace with people of they have wronged you

Some people just dont deserve to be forgiven or forgotten and dont deserve a second chance cos history repeats itself

If your fooled twice then don't go there again, there is nothing to forgive but your own sins, if you go there again it's because you want to, nobody to blame but yourself, at the end off each year forgive yourself as much as you forgive each other xxxx

i do forgive dependant on the persons actual sorrow but as you say on second thoughts some dont deserve to a certain extent with my black and white nature i dont expect forgivness and thats fine and wouldnt apologys for most things i have learnt in my time to act decently how i expect to be treated ergo when im wronged especially repeatedly i wont forgive or forget  |

You can be man or woman enough to forgive. Or become nasty and twisted by holding on to your hate iv always said if iv got a problem then I will come to your face with it and I forgive any one here who's done me wrong. The there a lot of forgives going on lol lol |

You can't always forgive . Somethings affect us too badly to move on easily from . So these people I just steer clear of and more pity than anything else. Then there's that thing called karma
There is of course exceptions to everything in life. We can't always life by the rules set out for ourselves or there would be no sadness hurt or pain in life , therefore we wouldn't know happiness joy and pleasure |

Whilst I like the OPs sentiments, I too believe there is only so much you really need to put up with. Once you reach that point it becomes really hard work and people go past the point of forgiveness.  |

I can always forgive. ..its deep in my nature and I can't change and hope I never will. So I go into the new year with no bitterness or anger towards those who have tried to hurt me and an assurance to those who think they may have let me down that 2014 heralds a new start and only positive loving thoughts and good times. In the end only those closest to me know the "real" me...and that person is deeper, stronger, more emotional and much wiser than those on the perifery of my life perceive. So again, the ageing hippy in me wishes us all love, peace and contentment in our souls as the new year approaches. Let's make it a good one.....love is all you need.  |
