Police in Glasgow have confirmed they have arrested a man who climbed on the roof of a pub to paint 'HAPPY ST. ANDREWS DAY' in giant white letters. Fortunately they managed to stop him after he only had time to finish the 'H'.

See Bond Air Sevices have grounded all 22 police and air ambulance EC 135's in the uk after a fault was found on the North West Air Ambulance, same type that crashed in the Clutha. . .

I know you have the propensity to constantly post to the forum, but this post is totally unnecessary and in more than bad taste.

There are no balls required for this....it would appear to be a need for attention, using shock tactics.

The only balls needed is to remove this post !!

Not in the slightest bit funny, and in very poor taste

Perhaps a wee lapse of judgement from our ninj...and yes poor taste .....but a personal attack is unnecessary. Ninja is as entitled to post proliferately on the forum as anyone and is a valued and much enjoyed contributor. Comment on the post by all means....but leave it at that......

It would appear it was a problem with a fuel gauge that has grounded bonds fleet. As the AAIB have already said they see no major defects in initial examination of the engines and gear box, could it be a simple case of a faulty fuel gauge and a helicopter out of fuel?

RIP victim number 10

And ninj, that was a jimmy Carr joke - extremely near the mark

Think its gone beyond the mark, considering another person has died. As said earlier, not funny, and in very poor taste

"Think its gone beyond the mark, considering another person has died. As said earlier, not funny, and in very poor taste "

But then this was posted before that information became public. Even ninj wouldn't have dreamed of posting it if he knew what was going to happen.

The fact it was posted in the first place was wrong

You might have to point out the funny bit about a helicopter landing on a busy pub.

You're conveniently ignoring the fact that there WERE deaths and injuries.

let he who is without sin cast the first stone and let he who is without humour take their swimming kit and nose dive into a volcano

i was under the impression that we lived in a democratic society where variety and diversity and freedom of speech is celebrated and not censored...you will never please all the people all the time so it's pointless to try....judge not least you be judged first

positivity = progress

many thanks to the those with the capacity of mind and tolerance to allow for the varying outlooks of those around them and bah humbug to the scrooge mcducks lol jingle bells...jingle bells

I'm quite happy to be judged.

The 'joke' was (and still is) in very poor taste.

If we 'we live in a democratic society where variety and diversity and freedom of speech is celebrated and not censored', is there ANYTHING people shouldn't make a 'joke' about?

I reckon a helicopter falling on a pub and killing 10 people is serious.

do you think the fact that millions of people are dying everyday is serious? we all must die someday unfortunately.....some of us fear it some of us embrace it and celebrate life and make the most of the precious gift of life and try to find joy and happiness where there is little or none to share with other's...life is too short and miserable as it is...why make it even more so?

As an attempt to change the subject, that one doesn't qualify as mediocre.
