Ok, are you a traditionalist or not?

Do you have roast turkey with all the trimmings?

Or do you prefer a turkey crown? Maybe a goose? (Feathered variety!! )

Is it roast potatoes or mash?

Paxo sage and onion stuffing?

Not had turkey in years here

This year I'm doing a Gary Rhodes recipie of hotchpot which is lamb, brisket and pork cooked for five hours but the result is worth it with meat you could carve with a spoon lol

I start with poached eggs on toast for breakfast with black pepper and Worcester sauce table sauce to dip into

.

Then at around 2ish it's lunchtime - turkey crown, roast potatoes, peas, carrots, Paxo sage and onion stuffing, roasted sausage meat, pigs in blankets and lashings of thick gravy

.

Then around 7ish it's fresh bread, cold sliced turkey, sausage meat, pigs in blankets, cold sliced ham from Xmas eve.

.

Perfect

Homemade lentil soup, warm bread rolls and lots of butter.

Turkey, ham, yorkshire puds, roast potatoes, mashed, loads of veg (sprouts included!) pigs in blankets, stuffing. Sure theres other things!

Desserts are anything goes but it's mostly all homemade, trifle, banoffie pie etc.

Favourite time of year ever and now I'm getting hungry
