Firstly can I ask admin if this does infringe any rules I apologise but it is a worthy cause and hope that you can allow this.

The Glasgow Easter Egg run has been a yearly event growing in stature since 1998 where bikers of any size, style, shape etc congregate in Glasgow to parade the streets towards Yorkhill. Traditionally it would have been chocolate eggs that were taken to the kids there but as the years have evolved cash is a much better gift for them. (though eggs still appreciated!)

I'm sure many of you will wish to donate what you can and therefore I ask two things.

If you are attending can you note this on the forum and where you are from.

If you wish to give you may be able to contact these users to give your gifts of eggs or money.

Obvioulsy some people will be uneasy with this and therefore I enclose a link and hope admin allow it, where you can donate directly.

Thanking you all in advance!!

ok there are two posts for this . this one and one from myself. it does not matter where you post just make sure you can get there.

the start of the run might be getting changed as the knob ends at the council are haverin as to where to start the run it will either be south street or govan .

for all the information check the face book page that has all the details

Blackbird, we made this a seperate thread to post a link where people can donate money, instead of handing over eggs - as they are now much more appreciated.

Plus, all of the information on your thread is now invalid as the details have been changed so much. The details at the moment are:

Place: South St (Outside GTG Training and BAE Surface Fleet)

Time: 10am for 11am Departure

tho its for a good cause and i support the egg run whole heartly i think that the Glasgow council have put their foot in it.

with over 8000 bikes in 2008 and spectators lining the streets to now put it to a back street in an industrial estate where no one goes -very bad.

when i read the new route i was thinking what would the BBC and STV think of this as they have covered the run in past years and from a run that would normally last say an hour it is now less than 10 minutes.

and you should see what i wrote on face book
