Are you guilty of over indulging your pets with treats to the point where theyre morbidly obese? Or do you know of anyone who does? who considers this to be a form of animal abuse? I've never seen so many fat pets in my life outside of the uk, who has a chubby pet and plan to put them on a diet? |

I have Labradors...nuff said.
Keeping them thin is a lifelong chore because thery will eat anything, no matter how long dead or even, ever alive.
Fatest dog I've ever seen was a Beagle- the lady had dementia and kept forgetting she'd fed it and the dog kept asking....It and its sister were a gift from the family. Not only had they NEVER been out the house, this one was too heavy to lift into the floorwell of my car, about 55kg....That's going some for a normally 15-18kg dog. It died shortly afterwards. |

My dog (lab x staffy) is a wee bit on the chubby side due to being on long term meds for allergies however with careful measuring of biscuits at feeding time he is only a couple of kg over his ideal weight |

My much loved and missed old lab was a dreadful scoffer! I swear there was no filling that pooch and he was also the most dreadful thief. We had visitors for Sunday lunch once and the joint of beef which was resting, miraculously disappeared except for the string!!! But his coup d'etat was the demolishing of an entire christmas cake followed by a giant size box of after eights plus wrappers....and nice red bow on the box. we arrived home just as he was frantically trying to get into the xmas pud...im sure that would have finished him off had he succeeded in releasing it from its plastic prison! Horse poo was also a great favourite...whats that about?????....... |

My 84yr old Grandmother thinks that everytime her dog opens its mouth she has to put something in it!
There's no telling her though and the dog obviously adores it |
