I hear that the estate of Michael Jackson has agreed the biggest recording deal in history with Sony. It's reportedly worth more than £133m million.
The deal will involve 10 album projects over seven years. This will include one album of previously unreleased material.......phew!!!! I got there in the end

I have been waiting on this coming for some time now.
Not wanting to sound cynical as I am a fan of MJJ and own almost everything he recorded.
However I remember sitting in a hotel room during his trial discussing what the future holds for him and a record producer friend stated if Michael were to die tomorrow his future record sales would go ballistic.
He already has 3 albums in the top 5 biggest selling so imagine what happens if they produce unpublished material.
This has worked for others before, flagging careers have taken off after death, so why not the King of Pop. |
