Been on here a yr now and still not sure I would call my self a swinger although had some amazing meets, some strange , but mostly positive and thoroughly enjoying my time here, just wondered at which point you can call yourself a swinger? Do u need to be a couple ? Visit clubs, when did you feel like this was the way for you ?

Everyones interpretation of a swinger I feel is different. For some its about closer friendships with benefits, for some its about attraction sexual chemistry . Many see it as having multiple sexual partners with no strings attached . Some only want to have sex and not keep in touch or develop friendships . Then there's the social side of swinging and the community ie in these forums social events and clubs . Does any of the above singularly make us swingers or does it require many or all of them. If you believe yourself to be a swinger if you're getting what you want from the lifestyle and site then thats all that matters.

Does it matter?

Think it's well established that swinging is different things to different people, and different people use this site in different ways..

It's all about fun and nsa, but having said that, numerous people have come on here looking for the usual, but have found something else, and something they weren't actually looking for!

A swinger no. A hedonist would be a closer "label" for me.

We can only claim to be swingers if having "multiple dance partners" and having your dancing skills verified counts

I think when it comes to people labels dont apply. The fact that the site is so named, may make us feel that we should consider ourselves swingers but really, as has been said many times by others, we are all here for our own purposes and with our own expectations and agendas. I may use this site but FAB does not define me. I have been lucky....wonderful people have come my way. My life has been enormously enriched by having them as part of it. Do my friendships fit the fab mould? I would say not....but while there may be site rules and guidelines there is no user manual. We can all interpret fab in our own way....and therein lies the fun.....finding like minded individuals who speak our language....and enjoying the ride. (Wouldnt be me without a pun...would it?...).
