That tight feeling you get deep inside you when you're out & you catch just a brief glimpse of the person you love.

Followed by the tormemting thoughts of what you could have / should have done.

The fact you use the word "love" and not "loved" is very sad.

Hints at the fact for you it's not over....

Someone cleverer than we once said "saddest thing in the world is knowing you will never talk to someone you love again".
