My youngest is going into hospital tomorrow for an operation on his eye.....its so difficult being a mum, hes got so many questions i cant possibly answer until we get too the hospital and im feeling so helpless
Im trying too stay upbeat for him, make him laugh and giggle, chilled and not worry. Inside my stomachs churning, im feelng sick and i just want it all over.

Been there with some of mine in the past.
My girl coped better than me to be honest, but I just put a brave face on in front of her and let it go outside the ward.
Kids tend to be more resilient to these things than we give them credit for!
Best wishes to you all tho' hope all goes well

Hi everyone thanks for all the lovely posts
I got him home yesterday....hes very sore but at least his eye has stopped bleeding and weeping now......still in a lot of pain when trying too open it, but hes trying so hard
The op was more than we expected, the surgeon found a blemish on his cornea which he removed as well as removing a sample of the fluid in his eye for biopsy, plus he also has 3 stitches.
