My rant would be on that all people are stupid espescially the intelligent ones, sounds stupid i know.
But there is a direct link between extremely intelligent and really f@#king stupid !!
Example Marie Curie, discovers x-rays then dies due to exposure to .......... x-rays. Point proven.

you are correct to credit Dr Roentgen, you could also have said Becquerel. My argument would be that they both had theories, the Curies proved them and developed practicle applications. However im not an expert and if you know more about roentgen then i bow to your knowledge.
