Do we think that there should be a "badmouth, name and shame" section of the site to allow some of the disgruntled fabbers to air their discontentment with other dastardly users? or should such negative opinions be censored? x

This subject has been done time and time again. Washing dirty linen in public eg badmouthing is against Fab rules. Naming and shaming is open to abuse and can cause all sorts of damage. If anyone has a problem with a user, then report, block and move on.

Yes to a certain extent but mods would be on the case like flies to horseshit.

Is is best not just to ignore, block and move along?

Oh I think there already is one on fab it's called gossip ..just not done in public but behind peoples backs but stupidly some are not so clever to cover their tracks and it always gets back to the one being badmouther anyway lol.

But as has already been said it is open to abuse so no its not a good idea at all.

having never personally come across a post relating to it I thought I'd put it out there to see if I can make sense of it all and also to benefit the other folks like myself who might be asking themselves the same question, also I'm well aware of the fact that it isn't permitted on here hence why I'm posing the question of wether it should be or not, whereas open discussion is subject to abuse not discussing certain issues might not necessarily be the lesser of two weovils

Just do a search under "Name and Shame" there are loads of them and will all say pretty much the same.

What is it they say? There are always three sides to every story, your side, their side and the truth.

Wars have started for less, lol. For example, i could tell everyone that you have been repeatedly messaging me asking for a meet, and when i say no becausdm i'm straight, you give me dogs abuse!!

You haven't really, but see how easy it is to abuse that sort of thing if allowed.

Exactly...I'll sometimes have a rant to a friend, but not important enough to make public

aye not to mention that message you sent me the other day asking me to farts in your face for £100 after eating 5 cans of beans that you also offered to supply, so when are we doing it then? And can I have the £100 in untraceable fivers or wired to my offshore bank accoubt in the bahamas's

what if you pay a non refundable/non transferable £20k for a luxury VIP cruise around the world for you and your proposed meet and they don't turn up? Would it still be ok to brush it under the carpet and move on like nothing has happened? Theoretrically speaking as I don't have £20k to spend on a fancy cruise for me and a stranger and I'm not a big fan of boats, perhaps there should be an option to take out fab insurance against any such loss of money or something lol
