Morning, we are heading to Edinburgh this morning for 2nights at The Carlton hotel. We are looking for some entertainment whilst in this nice city.......any ideas or even offers??

If you like live music, go to Whistlebinkies just up the road from the Carlton. It's also a great pick up joint! If you want something more traditional go to the Royal Oak, bit further along.

If you want fab type fun, you should get a few offers!!

haha if by friendly they mean that the locals are more likely to engage you albeit in an aggressive or violent manner and offer you the service of relinquishing you of the responsibility of your immediate worldly possession's but not before leaving you with a souvenir of their infamously warm hospitality with possibly a glasgow kiss or two

lol not that it's happened to me but going by the papers,numerous books written on the subject one might be forgiven for drawing that conclusion
