we were discussing the possibilty of having a scottish summer beach party / social with bbq,music,beach games etc "no sexual activity" in public at least lol just an open air social gathering,maybe if location is suitable for it overnight camping ??? with camp fire etc
would folks be up for it?
we think it would be a right blast having experienced parties like this at hedonism
we know the scottish weather is unpredictable to say the least so choosing the right day would be a bit of a lottery,then offcourse there is the choice of location for this that would be quiet enough and away from prying eyes to hold this gathering
we were thinking folks could make suggestions on this from local knowledge i.e maybe a nude beach or quiet location? we know there are 2 in ayrshire for a start but for the gathering clothing would optional,until your d*unk that is lol
we were thinking along the lines of it being a free social gathering i.e bring your own food,bbq,drink,music,gazebo,tent etc to the location decided upon
in theory do folks think it`s a possibilty?
any suggestions welcome,pros and cons too
just at idea stage just now but from baby acorns as they say,add your thoughts please

Absolutely fantastic idea, think it would go down really well. Think it would be better on a nudist beach, because that would probably be an area more geared up for meets, so pc plod wouldn't really bother the party-goers. |

am a trained lifeguard and can do that slow run along the beach as am a lazy fat bassa and canna run any faster lol xxxxx |

we`ve been looking into this all nite G m8 and so far location / facilities wise etc it seems ideal,the only obstacle we can see with it is it is run by the scottish naturist club and they like to distance themselves from swingers due to the fact most vanillas assume naturists are swingers which they state on many websites they have that they are not,this has us thinking that they would not welcome us at there island retreat
however not completely ruled out yet just gotta find a way of wording it properly before approaching them re use of their facilities for a day if possible ???
any other location suggestions welcome,ideally with toliet facilities lol,if anyone knows of a secluded seaside cottage with direct beach access for holiday rent please let us know as we could use the cottage as a base camp,toilet facilties,bad weather shelter etc and use any garden area for camping etc,or a secluded sea side camp site etc ???
basically we need more location suggestions before taking this further but glad to see folks like the idea if we can find a good location/date
if all else fails we can just have a great day out at any beach if we kinda behave lol but would like to try for an overnighter in a good location

am I right thinking there are only 2 official nudist beaches in Scotland? I've been to the one on Arran and it ticks lots of ur boxes except for costs, lack of toilets and cover incase of rain. Tons of midges and not great beach. |

It's probably not a great place to visit these days. Recent adverse publicity has attracted unsavoury types. |

a few locations have been suggested to us that we are looking into for suitablity
we will start a new thread when and IF we find a suitable location to hold this for folks to add their names to for attendance with a date if we get things finalised,thanks for all the interest in it and we will do our best to get this idea off the ground but so far finding a good outdoor location has been easier said than done
we are hoping for either sometime in the last fortnight of july or first fortnight of august to try and get good weather but as said all down to finding a suitable location
if anyone knows of one please mail us so that we can check it out for suitabilty
also considered are secluded camp sites that would exclusivly hire the whole site to us for the day so get in touch if you know of one that may do that ???

Kinshaldy beach in fife is off Tentsmuir forest and it has quite a few facilities such as grassed bbq areas forest walks carparking etc and a huge expanse of beach which does have an area which caters for nudists. Unfortunately the forestry commission who own the area don't have a camp site or allow you to camp there overnight...(although I have done it!) |

laine this is one that has been on our short list since we had the idea for the beach party the only things buggering it up is as you mentioned no camping and also that the car park is locked at 8.30pm in summer months but it does have toilet facilities and a nudist beach with bbq`s allowed,it has not been ruled out yet and is on our list as a definate maybe if we don`t do an overnighter and just have a daytime party

What about Findhorn Bay up by the "alternative" Findhorn Community. Its up between Aberdeen and Inverness - miles away I know but that makes it more secluded...as for tents...if its warm weather (ha ha) I imagine there will be quite a few in speedos ? |

If you don’t mind the wild, Crammond island is a great spot for camping, you can only get on/off when the tide is in/out though, so very secluded at night except for the odd camper, great place for camping around the camp fire and whatever else springs to mind lol. |

The place mentioned in Fife (I think?) where gates shut at 8.30...so what! we all there for the night? would that not do? OR would warden be suspect of loads of cars abandonned lol!

swing camp is a great thing as a few of the other sites have them and have been.forget car envy or anything like that its Tent envy that you have to worry about - it cost me a fortuneand its great to meet folk of the site so date depending count us in |

This sounds like an awesome idea !! would love to do it , i cant really help on the places as the only places i know about when im home are the pubs and football grounds lol but depending on the date , the weather and if im still in the country then def please stick my name down for it , thanks . |

Quite a few islands on Loch Lomond that are private and secluded and not really accessible to Joe public giving you decent privacy, I’ll ferry you all over in me boat if you stick a pound in the slot, lol

the camps were held on a public camp site in wales. Great fun - BBQ's at night down to the beach during the day and if you really wanted you could play as well .

hi folks,
wow what a great response to this idea,finding a suitable location has been difficult and to date we havn`t found any where that ticks all the boxes but have found a few that tick some of them
unfortunately our circumstances have changed considerably work wise etc since posting this idea up and we feel that we can`t give this idea all the attention it deserves so if someone would like to run with this idea re getting it properly off the ground and organised we would be very grateful and would assist in any way we can in the limited free time that we currently have.
hopefully this becomes a goer and possibly even a yearly event.sorry we can`t give it our full attention it was just one of those brain wave idea`s we had as a great day out and we would so love to see it happen but real life has us both by the balls right now and until that changes we feel we aren`t the right folks to get this up and running.

Just a suggestion and maybe im not seeing it correctly, theres very few places that can provide a beach a stones throw from camp site, but if you were to have a barbeque etc by a typical camp site next to a lovely scottish river or loch for example, might that work?

i have the venue A PRIVATE ISLAND ON LOCH LOMOND BUT DONT HAVE A DAY OR DATE IN MIND ( EVERYONE IS WELCOME ) dont want banned from the foum again but it is my choice who i take on my boat to get there lol |

ANDYMUZ IS TRYING TO HELP MAKE THIS HAPPEN HE HAS COME UP WITH LOCH LOMOND AS A LOCATION AND HOPEFULLY GOIING TO BE ABLE TO USE HIS BOST TO SHIP US OVER TO A WEE ISLAND.
