"Watched them on tv last night ...BBC1 10-40
A recording of them in Hyde Park . Jeez wish i'd been there."
you'd have been as well staying at home and saving the mega bucks they charged for tickets, would only see them on the big screens at if gig anyway |

Saw them at Glastonbury this year were fucking honking.......
Not done anything decent since 1972....
Keep releasing the same greatest hits album year after year slightly repackaged...
They epitomise all that as wrong with music..... |

Have loved their music over the years, but recently gone right off them!
Why? They have allowed their music to be released for adverts!
Am guessing they must be down to their last £100 million!!!

They really are one of the most over-hyped bands there has ever been in my opinion. Granted, they were big back in the day but they've been living on past glories for a long time now.
Having said that, when you go to see a 'classic' band like them, you don't really want to hear new material, you want to hear the songs you've grown up listening to.

Totally agree 100%
When asked are you a Stones man or Beatles I would always opt for the Stones.
However over the past 30 years or so I've grown to appreciate Lennon and McCartney a lot more especially the later stuff |
