Not lookin to big up anyone or myself ,just my usual nosey.

Whats the last charitable thing you did?

I love dogs, used to have my own,no way i could look after one now so i opted to do that "Sponsor a dog " thing, you know your moneys contributing to taking care of them, its simply a nice idea for anyone who likes dogs.

I do shopping for a few of my elderly neighbours nearly everyday. Look after my mates 3 bairns for an afternoon every week to give her a bit of a break. Plus I support Hearts, lol x

Now was this Shona or Mr Shona? cos I have to say I've been a Jambo for 32yrs (hence not liking being called hun) and have been a season ticket holder for 25 years,

Last time I big up your heating xx

I will say sorry cos I call everyone hun its not a personal thing just something I have done for years

He hasnt got a season ticket cos I moved him miles away but his uncle used to be a steward before Rock Steady took over and Steven got in with his uncle.

He even has loads of the signatures going back years ago, and whats worse is he dragged me thru for the parade a few years ago - and didnt even let me buy shoes to make up for it

Big up the heating lol I need it to keep working til Monday when Mr Gas man comes back with the fan

when i was based down in Suffolk i used to set up a homemade piggybank on base and ask for donations to go towards xmas presents for a localish childrens home/ unit that was for kids between 5 and 11 every christmas.

Would tally it all up and whilst collaberating with workers in the homes, my big mate and i would go out and buy them all something. On xmas day id dress up as Santa and he would come as an elf and we would spend about an hour handing stuff out.

I grew up in a childrens home and saw it as a way to kinda put something back in.

best thing about it though was as im 5'8 and was Santa, my mate is 6'1 and he was the elf lol, used to crack the kids up every time

As an ex-pro-photographer I used to regularly donate framed football prints to various charity raffles (the 'Old Firm' pics could raise surprisingly large sums). Now, as the sole representative of my company in Scotland I often press my boss to donate items of stock towards customers charity events for raffling.

Personally, I find it impossible to see a homeless woman & not donate something to help her out (it always seems so much more tragic to me, when it's a woman!)

Giving is like putting honey on buttered toast..... a little can go a long way

Fmuma I dont think he thought you were being disrespectful to the Jam Tarts at all you are only saying what he has said many times (never never never get him started on the Romanov saga its not worth it) He has just watched the game and is now jumping around!!

I know Im really bad for taking him away from his Hearts but I wasnt bringing my kids up in a war zone, which was what the area we used to live in was like

I would gladly buy the season ticket but sadly (for him) the kids are always needing something

Keep your fingers crossed cos its been snowing overnight - does the weather not know I dont like wearing trainers I want to wear my nice strappy sandals??

I have cancer, homeless, and children's charities I contribute to each month.

I also do my bit to keep the charity shops in St. Andrews afloat by shopping there regularly and topping up the stock when I clear out!

I also do the best I can with friends whether it be giving time, or them a lift in the car, or sharing a meal. I try to give where I can. xxxx

I am on the national committee of the Teenage Cancer Care Trust and I run most of the major funraising functions & events they have.....It is so rewarding to see so many hospitals now have Cancer Care Units especially for Teenagers who during their illness don't quite feel like adults but are also not children so this tends to give them their own special space....
