something i noticed at the social
Hardly anyone looks like their pics !!
Thought i would have recognised those that i have seen face pics , but truth be told i could only name 1 or 2 
Anybody else notice this ? |

if i had a pint for everytime i was told...""'you look taller on cam"""!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you only ever see my head and shoulders on cam...how can i look tall or short from that ..PMSL!!!

I had trouble recognising everyone cos I knew no one but after dragging Steven round and making a point of saying hi to most of the people there I had trouble remembering who was who!!! 
But my reputation must go before me (either that or I spraff alot of rubbish) cos people didnt know our username but when I said Im Shona the response was usually Ohh I know you I seen you posting.
Just incase you didnt catch my name I was the one frozen outside cuddling any man who was close enough, and screaming with laughter half the night

I also think some people have misleading pics - I saw at least 10 women who in real life are much much slimmer than their pics made them look. It may be like me they hate getting pics taken and I often pick the best out a bad bunch - exception being my new profile pic I actually like that one!!!
BUT all in all I could tell who was who when I got home on Saturday and looked for the usernames I remembered, even tho in most cases no faces were shown in pics here

Thank you TandS I couldnt sit all night expecting people to come to us and say hi, its not who I am, I am more get stuck in and join in (well except the chatrooms lol they still scare me) and I did still miss peoples names but there is always next time to get them!!
Being honest tho I think the well done is better coming from us to all the regulars - everyone made us feel welcome and no one ignored us - altho maybe that had more to do with me not letting anyone ignore me cos boy was I loud

we found that too at the last social we went to ..
found it hard to recognise people , most people just look different when they are standing there in front of you ! |

Mags you didn't meet me again because I'm ugly hun...pmsl...But I agree some people put pics on profile or send you pics that don't match up when you meet.. ffs i know I wear specs but do they think I can't see the difference? lol ... xx |
