"A rather nice chilled Rioja, but before that with dinner a lovely bubbly bottle of Prossecco....! You chilled Rioja ? "
You can also get white Rioja, i remember a good friend who ran a wine shop telling me that you drink wine how YOU like it, and don't listen to the wine snobs! so i've tried red wine room temp and chilled and i still can't stand it.... |

Oh I didn't know you could get it in White so apologies lol

But your quite right to to drink it how you like it xx |

I was told by wine expert to always chill red for 20 mins in the fridge prior to opening it. Room temperatures have increased over the decades due to central heating so chilling it for 20 mins kinda recreates the room temperatures from 'the good old days'. His words, not mine. |

" Yeah I think the rule of thumb was always to serve red wine at room temperature but granted things have changed slightly over the years and depending on the wine some should be cooled but not fully chilled like White wine .
I say have it how you like it it's you that's drinking it and enjoying it |
